This Privacy Policy explains how UnClick collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use the UnClick iOS and Android apps and related services.
1. What UnClick does
UnClick is a camera and memory app. You can capture or import photos, optionally attach location for Ghost features, generate AI “reimagined” images (past/future looks), and sync media to cloud storage when signed in.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may process:

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your photos for advertising targeting.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (providing the app), consent (camera, photos, location, optional marketing), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, basic analytics), and legal obligation when required.
4. How we use data
- Provide capture, library import, gallery, share, and delete
- Run Reimagine / Ghost features you request
- Authenticate you and manage subscriptions
- Upload originals/results to durable object storage (Cloudflare R2) when sync is enabled
- Enforce generation quotas and prevent abuse
- Improve stability (diagnostics)
5. AI generation
When you request an AI look, your photo and parameters are sent to our backend (Supabase Edge Functions) and to our AI provider solely to produce the requested output. Outputs are synthetic reconstructions, not historical records or factual depictions of real events. Do not use UnClick to create illegal, harmful, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
6. Sharing
We share data only with processors needed to operate the service, under contracts:
- Supabase — auth and database metadata
- Cloudflare — object storage / upload worker
- AI provider — generation requests
- Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription billing on mobile
- Stripe — subscription billing on the website
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect users and the service.
7. Retention
- Local photos remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app
- Cloud objects and account data are retained while your account is active
- After account deletion we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention (e.g. billing records)
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may: access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Use in-app Delete account, email privacy@unclick.it, or your store account tools. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. Children
UnClick is not directed to children under 13 (or higher age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. International transfers
Data may be processed in the EU/EEA, US, or other regions where our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards (e.g. SCCs) where required.
11. Security
We use industry-standard measures (TLS in transit, access controls, least-privilege secrets). No method is 100% secure.
12. Permissions
- Camera — capture photos
- Photo library — import/share
- Location (when in use) — Ghost / places features
You can revoke permissions in system settings; some features will stop working.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted by updating the date and, where required, in-app notice.
